Ok, I really had good intentions when I started this blog last year but as life happens my blog got put on the shelf. We’ll guess what? IM BACK! I’ve done a lot of thinking career wise and I always come back to hair, makeup and all things beauty. I want to be more disciplined and post a blog everyday! Im Dianne! I have been a professional singer for over 15 years playing all over the USA and Canada. Sining is my first love and consumes most of my life. My second love? Makeup and beauty of course! 50 Followers!!!
I started this blog venture awhile back and kind of abandoned it 😦 then missed it and here I am! I love blogging and reading other blogs from ladies obsessed with the same things I am. Technology is an amazing thing! Im soooo excited that I now have 50 followers. This is a big deal for me lol thanks to everyone who like to read my rambles and reviews and what not! It may seem silly to be so excited about 50 followers but it means the world me, it really does! I also get excited very easily lol I think when I get 100 followers I will have to do a major giveaway as a thanks to all my great followers!

Purple Shampoo?
Yes, purple shampoo! This is one of my MUST MUST MUST haves! I have always been a bleach blonde lover and purple shampoo is the best thing to remove that nasty yellow and brassy colour. Ive tried a of bunch of purple shampoo and there is only one that I continue to use and LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
Shimmering Lights purple shampoo is my all time favourite. I found a lot of purple shampoos Ive tried dont do much, but shimmering lights is a miracle! This completely strips all yellow and nasty tones blonde hair can have.
You can get this at Sally Beauty Supply and other beauty supply retailers and it goes for around $11-$13 depending on where you go. I should warn you if you have bleach blonde like white blonde dont leave this product on for too long it will leave your hair with a purple/grey tone (I kinda like that look but lol ya) One of my favourites. Its a lot stronger than most purple shampoos. I havent tried their conditioner yet, if you have let me know what its like!

Nails of the week!
This is something that I am going to continue to do every week! I love doing my nails and looking for the latest trends! This is one of my favourite colours from Essie – Mint Candy Apple! This amazing light teal colour is great for summer and adds a pop of colour without being over the top! A must try for all Essie lovers!

Nails of the week!
Hello Beautiful!
Being a girly girl I LOVE to do my nails and have cool designs and try new colours and different nail stickers! This week I am rocking a coral colour with salon effects nail stickers as accents!
The Coral colour is Maybelline Color Show in #190 Coral Crush
The Accents are Sally Hansen Salon Effects in #375 Out of Line
I am obsessed with these salon effects! They are a quick and easy way to rock really cool nail designs. They are easy to apply and last up to 10 days with a top coat. They come in a wide variety of colours and designs. Being in Canada our selection is of course a little smaller so when I go to the states I make sure to check out the selection and stock up! I love mixing and matching nail colour and designs its a fun and simple way to spice things up 🙂

I did a little shopping!
I was running low on a few essential beauty products and decided it was time to stock up. Some are repeat buys and some are new finds. I want to share a few more of my must haves! The new products I bought I will be doing a review on them, so here we go…
This product was in the my must have blog, Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in shade 115
I cant praise this makeup enough. It covers great and isnt heavy. It blends well, its a great day foundation, its not cakey, and it has a great finish.
Rimmel London Natural Bronzer in 022 Sun Bronze
This is the BEST bronzer that I have used. I am pretty fair skinned and it doesnt make me look like I have a fake tan (also great for contouring). It comes in a few shades including a shimmer one. Its a nice dust of colour that I can notice but not too much thats it yucky. This product blends nicely and isnt orange (which is a good thing contrary to Jersey Shore beliefs lol) All around great bronzer. A must try!
Loreal True Match Super Blendable Crayon Concealer in shade medium n6-7-8
This is a new product for me. It is about 4 or 5 shades darker than my skin tone and I use this as a contouring stick. It looks more natural than powder and you can blend it with your foundation. It has a very silky texture on the skin. I havent used it much so stay tuned for a more detailed review.
Maybelline Volum’Express Mascara “The Rocket” in shade 400 Blackest Black
This is also a new product for me. I was loured in by the bright colours on the mascara tube and packaging. I most always use a maybelline mascara, I ❤ them. The tube is a bright purple and pink so cute! They really know how to package their things to appeal to the ladies. This mascara is pretty good. I dont really have a go to mascara I like to try all different kinds. This promises 8x volume, and I have to say its pretty accurate. My lashes were huge lol in a good way. Im a fan! Ill post a pic when I have my eyes done with this mascara. The only thing I wasnt a huge fan of is the smell. Its pretty powerful, Im not sure if this is because its new and I just opened it or if it just smells strong.
Last but not least (another new find) Keratin Smooth Heat Protection Shine Spray. I live in Canada and have been on a mission to find the whole Keratin line and needless to say have not been successful. I randomly found this spray at walmart but can not find the shampoo or conditioner 😦 if anyone in Canada knows where to get the line please let me know. I have yet to use this spray, I will be trying it tomorrow so I will post a quick review. I can tell you it smells really good. Ive never used a heat protection spray before because Ive never really needed to. I now where fusion extensions (all the time) and have decided to give it a try to protect the extensions so I am able to keep them longer. Fingers crossed Ill let you know how it goes.

***Hot Fusion Extensions***
I LOVE FUSiON EXTENSiONS! haha. For those of you who don’t know what they are let me fill you in…
Hot Fusion Extensions are semi permanent extensions bonded to small clusters of you hair. They are bonded with a keratin bond. Im a girly girl and have always been into extensions, Ive tried braids, sewn in, clip in, glue in extensions, and then I found fusion…SO HAPPY I DiD! I loved them so much that I went and got my certification to install fusion extensions and now have a business called BeautyLock (beautylocks.wix.com/beautylocks) (instagram.com/beautylockshair) and of course like us on facebook! (facebook.com/beautylockshair) Ill post a few pics to better show and explain! here we go…
This is a fusion connector, this melts the keratin bonds to your own hair.
This is what a bundle of fusion hair extensions looks like before application. The top plastic piece is the keratin bond that attaches to your hair.

Crazy colours and highlights and half heads can be done. Fusion extensions are way better for your hair than dying it! A lot of people just like to add a splash of colour that can be easily taken out when they are bored of it. When you have extensions remember to keep them hydrated! I recommend Moroccan Oil (there is a moroccan oil light for us blondies!)
Washing your hair 1-2 times a week is ideal and while I know some of you are thinking ONCE OR TWiCE A WEEK? Dont worry there is an amazing dry shampoo called Batiste (more info in my must haves post)
I should also say DO NOT REMOVE EXTENSiONS by yourself have a trained professional do it! This is where damage can happen. Have you ever had extensions? let me know your experience, leave a comment below.
WHO WANTS FREE HAiR EXTENSiONS??? Im thinking of having a contest for a head of free fusion hair extensions. Would any one be interested in that? Let me know. This contest will be open to everyone, anywhere in the world. Having said that I wont be able to put them in for you but it will be A LOT cheaper to bring your own hair to an extension technician. The prize will be worth about $200 CA So, if there is any interest in a contest for free extensions let me know!
